Learning Objectives, Form, Scope, Content and Target Audience

This course covers fresh questions about animal welfare, animal experiments, animal facilities and others domains of the research involving animals. Some topics are related more specifically for issues at the University Zürich and/or the ETHZ.

Criteria for the Participation

The participants must be involved in animal experimentation (as experiment, study director, Cantonal commission, KVET, …)

Accreditation

This course is recognized by the authorities (one day continous education).

Course Fees

For persons who are affiliated with UZH and ETHZ: 130.- CHF

For persons from other Universities in Switzerland: 250.- CHF

Industry/External participants: 380.- CHF

Please note that we will charge you the full fees in case of a late cancellation of the course (within 3 weeks before start of the course) or in case of absence. It is the responsibility of the participant to inform the organizer of the course about the cancellation before the deadline of 3 weeks before the course to avoid the billing of the course. To charge for cancellations is common practice by other providers, too. The new proceedings for education courses became necessary due to an increasing extent of short term cancellations in training modules.
